About the Collaborating Author
Regina Birchem, PhD, biologist, researcher and author, served as a non-governmental participant in United Nations conferences on the environment, sustainable development, and disarmament. Her profession and leadership in WILPF have taken her to many countries around the world. Dr. Birchem currently lives in Minnesota, United States.
